Looking to get the rear windows tinted on the freelander

Can anyone recommend a company - I live in Lancashire so either a mobile of someone in the north west please.

Don't upset him then ffs! He's only getting the back ones done so he must be a big fecker to drive it from all the way back there! :D
 
had to laugh last nite.
was driving thro the gorton area, manchester. and saw this rr sport wif blacked out windaz, parked in a street of ****ty terraced house.

the local doctor/lawyer eh?
more like the local feckin dealer or a plumber!
 
Yep - heard of yellow pages - there are loads of window tinters in there. some probably good and some probably bad.

Just asked a serious question to see if anyone had any experience of any of these companys so I dont end up using a bad one.

Should have known better
 
and for the record - dont want them tinted for any other reason that for work I quiter often have some very expensive equipment in the back which is better kept away from prying eyes
 
Have asked locally - and had a number of people who were less than happy with the result and or the service. got a number of quotes from local "specialists" but the prices vary a lot (£130 to £260) sme say it takes 1 hour some say it takes 5 hours.

If its done well it looks ok but if its not it looks total ****e.

A girl I work withs husband works at my local Land Rover Dealer. I was surprised to learn that if someone orders a new landy with privacy glass, a lot of the time it doesnt come from the factory - they use a local tinter who comes in and does a few at a time - She is going to ask him for the details and hopefully the dealer discount !!!
