Haha,

The joy of Land Rover ownership....it just keeps giving...

Daughter was delighted to find out that her HSE Facelift FL1 had fold in mirrors.

Very upmarket for where she lives.

Not so upmarket the rear left window regulator stopped working yesterday. I wondered whe they would start to fail, almost like clockwork..

Anyway, ordered two for the rear yesterday, belt and braces stuff, only for the front drivers to fail today(whilst I was driving.)

Ordered the front two today, same vendor on 'fleabay'!!

Heading to Spain in about an hour so thise little jobs will have to wait until I get back, in a few weeks time.

We stopped for fuel(A full tank of BP's best) preceeded by Comma's injector cleaner ...only to get a comment at the petrol(deisel station) 'Ah, Freelander.....as we helped the drivers window to raise up...

'Should have bought a Navarro...'..

IIRC there are always a few of them as 'Spare or repair' on Fleabay, considering the amount of FL's for sale in comparison...

Anyway, I was shagging his mum when he was at primary school....the little prick....

Window regulator cables fail quite often. I replacement about 20 last rear alone. The rear are very easy to do, the fronts are a little more fiddly.
It's a good idea to wear gloves when doing then as I always get splinters of metal if I don't.

Thanks Nodge.

Always wear gloves whilst working on vehicles these days. Hands still get durty(ish) and get the odd scrap etc but thanks again.

Have learnt the hard way regards working without gloves.
