Hello gang.
Quick question. My Rear driver passenger window regulator failed. I have and old spare motor from the other side passenger that fail on the cable. Question is can I swap the failed motor in situ with the good one instead. I did the usual checks first to confirm by removing the rear wheel and replacing with a bicycle wheel.:D

I'm sure window regulators are handed (mirror images of each other), so you can't use bits from one side to fix the other side. The cables and regulators are cheap enough, so just order the correct one.

Ah poo. cheers for that looks like i'll have to cough up some cash then. Bit surprised it failed so easily switch were fine just the motor that went. Cheers.

Are you sure the motor has failed? The motor is normally the most reliable part. The cables fail first, normal stalling the motor in the process. ;)

I gave the cable a feel bit later on and that felt taught enough. Sadly when you buy bitphart you buy twice has a hollow truth here. Never mind I'll slink off and buy a replacement. I know normally the motor strong enough to carry on even if the cable snaps, but this seem to have stop period.
