Window regulator motor broken

Hi guys I can't get to the bolt to loosen the glass, as it won't go down. Any solution to this cheers.

You don't say which window?

You can cut the wires, make sure the glass doesn't fall down though.

I've often found that despite a broken cable and utterly chewed up mechanisms, operating the switch for a bit allows some slack to then slide the glass down by hand. In my most recent regulator swap I even had to press the switch up for a couple of seconds to do it, despite the window being fully raised.

Cheers, it's the near side back window.
