im after a winch for the disco been looking on ebay there are some 2000kg for around 50 pound mark would one of them do the job or am i looking at the 300 pound 9000kg ones
 
think the disco weighs nearly 3000kgs.
add say a minimum 2x safety factor.

the 2000kg jobby is prob ok for pulling small tree stumps out of the garden.
 
go for the big one, not only have you got the weight of the disco, also when your pulling yourself out that adds to the weight no end. youll burn the 50 quid one out in no time.
 
aw yes, but you aint gonna be stuck in no mud hole with just your kerby weight are you now?
