winch ideas for freelander

i am new to this and have a freelander, i cant afford to buy a defender or anything like that, so i am sticking to my freelander, i have done a few small mods so far, but i want to try fit a winch to it, i have seen some ideas, for example fit to the bulbar or cut into the body work, but i dont know were i would start or if my bulbar is strong enough, any help would be much appreciated thanks tom

bull bar is now way strong enough for it.

the winch would need to be bolted straight onto your metal chassis bumper behind the plastic bumper on the front of your car using a couple of brackets

right ok thanks for the advise but the bulbar seems to be a very sturdy frame and halfway up the frame there are bolts going from the bullbar threw the plastic into the frame
