I got 205/16
I would like to fit 235/60/16 or 70's

Are these ok ?
Steering rub ect ect

Not on wheels that had 205s. Too narrow. Need 109 wheels or 110 wheels. i have 110 wheels on my 109 with 235/85-R16s and they do look the business - grip well, wear well and generally are a great all-round tyre for a Series.

I had the same tyres on a Series II 88-inch - worked great there too. Stops of course have to be adjusted so they don't rub on the chassis at full lock, but that's not a big deal.
 
I have heard of people use that set up and they say 235 are the max you can safely do, but that's something I read not experienced, if it were me, be safe !!!!! Also think about what would your insurance say if the worst were to happen

That's why he's buying the correct wheel rim with tyres that will match!
