will 16x8" -35ET wheels fit?

quick question will 16 X 8" wide with -35ET fit under the standard arches on a defender

and if anyone has a picture of one with them fitted i'd appreciate it you could post it

and if they do fit what tyres did you fit on them

Yes they will fit, what sort of tyres are you thinking of? A 235/85 will probably be ok, but anything wider and you'll run the risk of them sticking out of the arches. Which in the UK is illegal (Construction & Use Regs, not MoT).
