I'm currently running Bridgestone A/T D694 195/80 R15, on stock 15" x5.5 steel wheels, on my 2002 Freelander TD4.
I want to change them to 215/75 R15. Will they fit on my wheels?
These tires are a little taller. Will they put extra strain on my VCU, IRD, diff?

Hello, your new (proposed tyres) have a greater circumference so (asides from putting a bit more strain on power steering) yes. Also your speedo will be slightly slow (59 mph instead of 60mph) if in any doubt speak to someone at one of the many tyre companies in LRO/LRM and they will be able to advise. it's not a big difference though...

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revolutions Speedometer Odometer Difference
195/80-15 6.1" 13.6" 27.3" 85.7" 739/mi 60MPH 10000mi N/A
215/75-15 6.3" 13.8" 27.7" 87.0" 728/mi 59MPH 9851mi 1.5%
