For:
if you're getting it as a UK company car, there's a huge tax break.

Against:
your shopping, children and dog will get wet when it rains.

I've got one and I love it ( not so much today because I got a flat on the
Mway and knackered a tyre)

mega cheap if you have a company car, a guy I knew was running a Nissan
300ZX as his company car, he was paying £77 a week in CC tax now he pays
£10.

Servicing is a bit of a pain at 6000m or 6 months

Very practical if you get a hardtop on it, I can recommend the carryboy
ones, the one I have has the steep sloping rear window, makes it look like a
car not a pickup. cheaper hardtops are more flimsy, this one took 3 people
to fit it on. Makes the boot huge.

Only thing that lets it down, the insurance is pricey as it has to be
insured as a commercial for private use, this limits your choice of
insurance company thus pushing the price up.

Oh and test drive one on the motorway before you buy it, some people may not
like the very hard ride

VAT recoverable if you're VAT registered making it cheap
