disco are fairly pricey to insure as there 7 seaters, insurance is a pure rip off for young landy owners like myself 1800 third party fire and theft on my 200tdi defender csv:mad: with a years no claims, they wanted 3500 to insure me wen i was 17 and just passed my test i was like get bent il have to wait a year

Not a Disco but a Golf GTI: once, I paid £12 for insurance!!!

To explain, I had a multi-car policy with 2 cars on it already, and it was part-way through the year, and I've also not included the admin fee, and it was limited mileage (3000/year) and for the 2 cars was around £250 already (one was modified quite a lot). I phoned up and asked for a third car to be added and it was £12 for the car!

The disco for me a second car with no no claims bonus due to an oick last year 200 tdi 7 seat £250 fully comp the same cost as a fiat punto¬¬¬

Discovery fully comp, full ncb 164 quid with wife as named driver.
Jaguar XJR fully comp 3 yrs ncb 310 for both of us.
Good idea to put your wife on the policy even if she's not gona drive it, rings the price down quite a lot!!

if your saying price per policy you win if your price per vehicle mine unlimited

£120 fully comp, NCB protected, no restriction on mileage, 2 named drivers, with the AA so includes relay cover FOC, legal cover & £50 glass excess.
Oh & "a like for like" courtesy car if needed in case of an accident (not a crappy Skoda...)
I'd like to try that one out then...where are they gonna find me a 22 year old 90 for hire :D
