i have a 95 4.0 range rover on coil springs and to be honest i hate the ride:eek:
i love the car and my caravan will come summer.
i always promised myself one when i grew up:D

What i need doing is for someone in the know who is willing to take the job on and is local-ish.i dont mind leaving the car with someone while they do it.i have another car to use so time frame isnt really an issue.

And before all them people out there say just sell and buy one unmolested.in my opinion its worth doing and saving from being another bargain basement 4x4.

There is a few issues other than the eas

1,blend motors u/s

2,get eas working

3,fit new driver side front window reg

4, windscreen not electrically defrosting

5, cruise control not working

i think thats it for now:)

blend motors i can supply or you can

eas, having a quick look around i have
valve block with pump and air drier
air tank underneath
no air bags, you or me supply
dont know about height sensors
ecu is still under seat

window,you or me supply

i know its a bit tricky to give a time/price for the job but you will be helping to save what i think will be a nice cruiser.

if i go to a garage i fear they wont treat the car with the respect it deserves, just see it as a cash cow.

Would anyone be willing to help me?
Looking at doing it in the new year.

I am based in Alsager, stoke on trent.
It could even be done at mine on the drive with help and plenty of brews.:)

cheers guys

i have done these jobs on mine not sure about the cruise control,i live in banbury oxfordshire, the airbags cost around £75 each, accumalator cost me£ 65 i have the space to do it,and would not charge the earth to do it,if you supplied all the kit i would do it for around £150.how does that sound?
not yet tho too bloody cold lol
oh and the screen could be a relay or supply fault,if it is the screen i cannot do that sorry.

now thats a fantastic price but your bloody miles away, lol

if i have no other offers i will take you up on the offer,i was looking at having it done end jan start of febuary or maybe even later, depends when her in doors wants to get the caravan out.

would anyone suggest i get a pair of secondhand air bags first to make sure it all works as it should then replace with arnott,i think thats who makes them. was reading a post the other day but cant find it now, saying to get the gen 2 ones as there the mutts nuts.

cheers guys

not a bad price, but it means you sourcing all the parts,i have a large workshop area, which is what you need for this size of vehicle, like you say i am a fair distance away, yes second hand airbags, would be a good idea.
all i may not be able to do is the screen.
and the cruise control.
