which suspension? from a newbie

Hello all I'm new here and new to land rover,
I have a 300tdi 90
Have been driving it about for 6 months or so, I need to regester it in
france and am going through the motions: I have been told by the garage
I need to replace one of the rear shocks so I guess it would be best to do them
both, should I do the springs as well?

the LR garage here said don't get brit part ones!
but didnt say which would be a better choice...
what do I need to look out for any sergestions and advice would be great as I

need to do right away

Armstrong are oe at £12 each or so

Or boge brand are fine

just been reading about suspension that's been lifted,
how can I quickly tell if mines standard, i think it is! but
for piece of mind before i buy online, could someone tell me
if i measure it what it should be in cm from where to where.

Post pics, measurements can be deceptive. Where are you, roughly?

I have a single brand new rear Armstrong shock and a pair of used ... offers?
