which seals

Hi

I'm changing my front hub seals cause I'm getting oil all over my brake shoes. Which seals are the best old type ( leather) or rubber ones???

And does any body have the size instead of a part number.

The Crystal Ball Department is currently undergoing maintenance.

It might help if you were to give us some idea of year and model, standard axle or has it been changed/updated?

Its a series 3 so its a choice of early axle or the rationalised one?

I've got a leather seal on my hubs which are good but remember to soak them in EP90 before fitting to help soften the leather
