Summer is on its way and I am thinking about getting a roof top tent. Though I am planning to take it to the southern parts of Europe it would be nice to get one that is also suitable for rougher climate e.g. rainy UK. The tent is for my 90" hardtop and I realise that I will need either a roof rack or some roof bars to support the tent.
As it is a bit of a jungle when you have only ever spent three nights in a roof top tent any tips and tricks, or experience with roof top tents would be much appreciated. I am looking for things like what brand to go for, what roof rack/bars go well with the tent, pros and cons as to which way the tent should be mounted/face, where to buy the tent, if possible a place in Herefordshire where they can be viewed, and any other good advice you might have. (have searched threads but would like some further details if possible).
