which one

Hi, i've just brought a new compresor for my workshop which is very good. i decided to buy a air impact wrench which i did but it dosen't seem to work i only payed £15 for it brand new and tried to remove the wheels but it didn't seem to have the power the compressor was full of air, could it be because the wrench was cheap, so can you help. has any one else had the same problem with cheap wrenchs and could any tell me of a good one.

what Hp,CFM and capacity (ltr) is the compressor for a big windy gun you need at least 50 ltrs 3hp and 11cfm and even then it'll struggle to run. also are you sure that the regulator isn't turned down on the compressor.

when using air tools you also need a water filter/seperator and an inline oil feeder.

most of the cheap air guns only have a vey low torque setting as they are direct drive and require as Pikey says a lot of cfm capacity out of your compressor, the dearer guns have a reduction gearing within to give a lot higher torque figure and will work with a lower pressure and less cfm output compressor.

not enough wind for a large (1/2") air gun but would work with a 3/8" drive gun ok. why not crack off the nuts with a strongarm and use the gun as a nut runner.
