Hi all,

Not with the car at the mo and need to order up replacement coil pack(s). Seems there are two types; an all in one and 2 separate ones.

Any idea which one I require for my 4.0 Thor?

Yeah x 2 don't buy landrover ones they can be expensive same coil packs are fitted to other cars and are less than half the price can't for the life of me remember which car tho

Cheeper Britpart. add VAT + maybee delivery? don't like island 4x4 but that's just me.

Cheepo at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVE...IGNITION-COIL-PACK-PART-ERR6045-/251666380102 add postage £4.10 not a good ebay score though!

if its just to get the cheepest then just Google ERR6045 and choose whatever.

just looked at them and other suppliers, all it states is refer to dealer. Looks like LR have sewn up the suppliers. sometimes I can cross reference a number on the units. They have stopped showing the other motors they fit. the online versions suck.

To be honest I only need something to cover me for a few months. After an expensive wedding and in the process of moving (temporarily) then sorting a mortgage, I'm a bit short on the old pennies!

One last thing before I order, is it generally a good idea to replace both at the same time? i.e. if one is fubar, the other wont be far behind?
