Where to buy a new wastegate??

You can not buy them separately. Unfortunately you will have to buy a complete new/used turbo. However once you've changed yours you will have a spare actuator and turbo housing etc.

What do you mean by "yoke" I'm not sure what part you are refering to?
I do have a spare used actuator which might be for sale for the correct amount of beer tokens. Unfortunately I binned the wastegate casting when my turbo blew. In hindsight I should have held on to it.
 
the bit in the box there, the actuator, its seized open, spent 3 hours trying to loosen it today with the mechanic, not a budge.... any ideas how to free it?? :( :mad:

yea thats the fella, but do you see the list of turbo's you gave me? how do i decide which one is right for my engine? theres four different 2002 defender td5 options, doues it refer to my engine number? thanks.
 
Well there all GT2052S's and at a guess the waste gates should be the same and maybe its the compressor/turbine housings that slightly differ .
Its a good start tho :D
