where does this wire go ;-)

trying to get to the bottom of why a lot of the electrics don't work after I changed the bulkhead, can anyone tell me where this wire that comes off the capacitor like thing that screws on to the dash.

I don't think so, never used it if its there, can't see a switch for it.

hmm,
I think it might be item 47, flasher unit, can you get a pic of writing as it looks more like a relay than a capacitor chief

it probably is a relay, its got bosch on it and some other stuff written in german, and the flashers are one of the things that don't work.

I have also replaced the indicator stalk

have you tried grounding the case of the relay (through the tab at the top)

The above wiring diagram is for a series2 lightweight by the way.

no I haven't, I thought it screwed onto the plastic of the dash but its so long since I took it off I can't remember, I will give that a try.

where does this wire go ;-)
