Disco 1 Wheelarch liners, bonnet release, air filter mounts

Nearly finished putting my Disco back together (see thread in member vehicles)!

-Plastic wheelarch liners- should I bother putting this back? Will it keep water out or trap grot in?
-Having trouble with the bonnet release catch- has anyone got exploded diagram of all the parts showing how they fit? It’s being temperamental due to the slam panel being messed around with!
-The rubber mounts on the air cleaner broke when I removed it so I’ve just bolted it straight to the inner wing- will this cause problems?

The wheel arch liners are to limit the crap getting chucked up the space between the footwells and the wing

Put the liners back in or the road detritus sprays up in there and rots it all out again.

Can't help with the latch.

Put the air cleaner back on anti vibration dampers, they're cheap enough from Halfords and you won't get the drumming through the inner wing off the engine.

Ah, thanks! Will refit liner and get hold of rubber mounts.
