Hi all I'm just after some info any photos of your trucks would be great.

I've got a td5 1999 that I've bought a terrafirma +2 lift kit and have some cooper discoverer stt 275/65/R18 that I want to fit to the standard hurricane wheels.

Lining them up they look huge and I'm wondering what I can get away with without cutting anything as i don't want to do that?

What tyres and wheel setups with off road tyres do you have and are there any issues to look out for?

Mine are 285/75r16 and a four inch lift give or take a bit

Yours will definitely go on, whether they rub a bit off will be trial and error really

Ok cool will it make much difference that mine are 18 inch and both of yours are 16 inch?

Nope. The only important factors are offset, tyre width and tyre diameter. The ratio of rubber to metal is irrelevant.

Get em on and make em fit ;)

What do people think of maxxis mudzilla's anyone got them?
Had them?

I want something that's great for laning and mud days?

Fitted the terrafirma lift kit today and had a trial with the cooper discoverer.

Fits perfect on the back but really tight on the front as rubs against front bumper.

Now I've taken the airbags off it just beeps and has a warning light on all the time?

What's the solution as I want to keep the tyres

Needs to have the ECU re programmed 5 minute Job if your anywhere near Bournemouth I could take a look?

Also I forgot to ask would the compressor be powerful enough to use to blow up a tyre for example?

I had some insa turbo dakars on 16" steels with terafirma 2" lift. Only really scrubs on the front bumper and when off-roading did catch the rear arches and occasionally the side trim where you have the side step.
A compressor should be fine to pump them up too mate

I do need someone shame your a bit too far away as I don't think I could handle the constant beeping from the fault light being on.

Is there anyone local to hook hampshire that could turn it off for me?

Pull the fuses out. I can't remember which ones but google will tell you.

You'll still need to do it properly but it might help with the beeping in the meantime. Keep a listen out for the air compressor clicking as well. Mine kept draining my battery even with it disabled.
