I was told Bronze Green S11a,s where supplied with Bronze green wheels early on. Just wanted a serious answer.

I think early series 1s had it so cant see what chavs have to do with it, unless of course it was a bunch of chavs doing donuts ouside tesco in their 80"s

If you email Dunsfold DLR they might be able to tell you

i "think" they would have been bronze green but i'm not sure (i do know grey body would have had grey wheels though), it doesn't really matter to most though as they look good with either BG wheels or limestone

Would my 65 series 2A in Bronze Green have had body coloured wheels from new.

Yes, the 2a would have had bronze green wheels if the body colour was bronze green.

When the later series 3 came along, all models except those painted in bronze green had limestone wheels. the bronze green models retained the bronze green wheels. However, the late model series 3's in bronze green were changed to have limestone wheels like the rest of the colour range (1980 onwards I think)

Thanks Nick, from other research i'm begining to think you could be right. I cant find any old sales photos from the time which would be a help. The fact that i have some green paint left may just swing me that way too.
