Whats Wrong

Hi all,
why does the TD4 Freelander get so much stick.I have had mine for 12 months now and all thats gone wrong on it is the fuel pump in the tank (not cheap but what is these days). It went straight through the MOT and still sounds sweet even with 143000 miles on the clock. Having said that, its probably given it the kiss of death now.

its a great motor. . . .got to remember a lot come on ere for elp or got the dog cos they jist spent er fortune at the stealers, the tractor boys take the **** ,but they want one really [smirk]

In fairness the td4 is the cream of the plop. I cant complain with my td4 2001 es has 130,000 on the clock its bitten me once when it spat its auto box but at 121,000 miles when it spat it seems fair enough a year later. otherwise its a good but not great all round car. bin all over europe in mine, hit 80mph stick on the cruise and relax it'll do that all day with no stress...

Yes I have bin drinkin again....

Good Forums always have loads of posts about faults and problems, you would think a Porcshe Boxster is the worst car in the world if you looked on some forums.

If you want to feel better about your frelander go on a TVR site!
