Freelander commercial TD4 - 2004 - 96,000 miles
Great forum, with some top tips! About 2 months ago, I read the EGR thread, pulled off the vacuum hose and blocked it to see if it would work for me.
It did, so 3 weeks ago I went all the way - cleaning the EGR and Inlet manifold and putting it all back together (I have some video of the EGR in operation which I'll post on youtube if anyone's interested).
MIL came on, so I bought an OBDii reader and got the following message
"P0237 Turbocharger/supercharger Boost Sensor "a" Circuit Low"
No problems, still drove fine. I bought a new facet MAP sensor (£45) and fitted it today - reset the MIL, problem solved...
Not so much!
With the new MAP connected, it drives like the MAF sensor is up the spout (as described by the excellent RoverRon) - disconnect the MAP, the MIL light comes on but it drives fine...
Any ideas / comments / suggestions of where to go from here would be greatly appreciated
