What modifications if any would be required to run this size wheel and tyre package?

Is a lift kit required?

What about wheel spacers?

What size wheels and tyres do you think these are?

Many thanks.

That has a wide arch kit on there so it potentially running spacers. Definitly running a large offset deep wheel for a wide tyre.

Without knowing the size it’s difficult to say what would be required. But it does not immidiatly look lifted.

This image is better. 305/70 R16
Toyo Open Country. Toyo recommend an 8", 9" or 10" wheel
Deep dish, so probably Gojo Deep Dish. Found here at Tyres Direct. If you speak to Greg Oliver at that company and send him the picture he'll advise if you need spacers or not. Very fast at replying, good company, I used them recently for a full set of modulars.

Sidenote: Vehicle has had a 10mm suspension drop. Description here.

It depends... what do you want to do with such a vehicle? If it pose and nothing more arduous than a Tesco carpark then a lot less than if you want to off road it.

I'm not against big wheels, but be aware they'll blunt performance, esp on something like a Tdi, reduce braking efficiency, induce more bump steer, probably reduce mpg and knacker the turning circle.

Lifts are not really a good way for fitting bigger wheels normally. As under full suspension compression you'll loose the lift and they'll rub. You can limit suspension travel, but that is usually pointless if you care about off road performance.

At a guess they are 16x10 rims with an ET00 offset. Wheels cannot legally stick out of the arches in the UK (Construction & Use Regs, not MoT). The big arches may require the wings cutting, depends on the exact arch. While the front wings can be replaced, the rear are part of the body tub, so not really a reversible mod.

Big tyres will also fling a lot of dirt up the sides and over the door handles.

Penny to a pound they rub....

Oh they will defo rub, ive got a 5" RAC lift on mine with 315 toyo's, wheels are a -32 off set & have 40mm spacers
still had to chop the tub & theres not much of the front wings left either 🤣 🤣

Just reminded me that I need to chop my tree slider on the disco as it rubs on full lock with the same wheel/tyre combo. :vb-biggrin:
