What make filters/service parts?

What are the collective thoughts on which brands are good/bad for filters? I know that some people only use genuine parts, some others will always buy the cheapest option, and many I'm sure are somewhere in between. Here in Canada Fram oil filters are considered to be the lowest quality option, but what's the deal with Landy parts? Is Britpart any good? Mahle? Coopers? There are others, I realize.

I use Mahle or Coopers, never would I use Britpart filter

I use britpart oil fuel filters. But with the mileage I do they get changed about every 3months. I have never had any problems. I tend to order the cheap ones (non-OEM) and sometimes get other makes have used coppers in the past. Just what ever I get sent. For me a filter is a filter regardless of brand. But if I was keeping them for longer I may be pickier.
