What is this leak?

Hi all,
At the weekend I bought a diesel Vogue on an 03 plate. Got full Land Rover service history and i’m aware it’s going to need ongoing maintenance but I want it for towing. I know it’s just had a service and a new compressor and a new power steering pump. And it appears it’s been looked after. BUT it seems to have a oil leak at the front. Can any of you suggest where this might be coming from and is it an easy fix? I’ve tried to take a photo.

Is it oily or watery?
Put small container see if you can collect any might give a clue.

Could it just be residual “mess” from power steering pump change? How long ago was it done.

Not much to go on there

Mine had a leak when I bought it and IMO it was caused by a blocked crankcase breather and the increased pressure was forcing the oil out of the oil filter housing.
Should have been changed at service but who knows.

I just wait till it rains and collect the oil slick, I have oil from a D1, a D2 and a L322

Over the years every Land Rover I've owned has leaked oil. It's called recycling I believe
