What is this engine?

Hi. I have an '89 Bronco with a 5.8L V8. I am pretty sure that it is a
Windsor, but I have heard that Windsor is a big block. I dont know for
sure that it is a big block. Is there a way to tell if its small or big
block besides removing the engine from the compartment? Any help would
be great. The engine code by the way is "H". Thanks

351W "Windsor" is based on the small block 302 motor. The 351M is based on
the 400 large block motor. I believe the '89 Bronco had a 351W in it.

Not true, see this info:

Ford used up their remaining stock of 351M engines before switching over to
the 351W in mid-model year 1982. All Ford products, including Bronco,
returned to the use of the Ford "Blue Oval". Letters F-O-R-D were removed
from the hood and the blue oval was placed in the center of the grille and
on the left side of the tailgate.

I have two: F150 and a Bronco. Both are 351W. Hope this helps.
