Have just bought a second hand 11" front brake drum and back plate and want to replace the four cylinders and refurb them before putting them on the S2, the ones on there are Girling 303450 and 303460, have been searching for the Girling without any success, does anyone know a quality replacement for these or preferably a complete kit.Have found some but not sure if they will fit.

Lockheed Delphi or TRW should be decent quality. No issues with these on mine and both are pretty cheap really £16 to £25 ish per cylinder. Not sure they do a full kit as such though.
Personally I'd avoid blue boxes for something as important as your anchors.

Its tracking the correct part number thats the problem, don't want to refurb put them on and find it goes tits up.

My series 3 stops very well with 11" set up. Be sure to use the "Mintex Linings" available from Paddocks if you need adjusters try All Makes, just avoid the blue box jobbies. I have not had to touch my brakes since fitted three years ago and it is used daily.

Was thinking about replacing the adjusters, but they looked to be pressed in? are they easy to change.

Adjusters not to bad to change with the backplates off the vehicle. Best with an angle grinder to destroy the old ones, new ones held on with a nut that draws the actuator on to the bit you adjust with. Look carefully at what you are doing and you will not have a problem. From memory the spanner size on the replacements is 9/16" original is 1/2".

Thanks, something else on the shopping list.
