After you have gone into the Intro section and told us a bit about yourself and given us a clue what type of Landy you have, we might be able to assist ;)

Unfortunately, my crystal ball is currently undergoing maintenance and cannot be relied upon at the moment!

Is it wet or is it moist?

Is it warm and wet, warm and moist, or is warm dark and moist?

I aam sure that someone on here would be able to educate you on the differences between 'wet' and 'moist' :D:D:D

Just noticed wet patches on roof lining at tops of windscreen pillars to the outer edges of the sun visors. Sunroofs are dry. Any ideas where water could be getting in. Thanks

Like OSD says^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Go and introduce yerself. Try forum search facility, water ingress has been covered before. If no joy, come and ask again!

Tbh, though, mate, most older models will have some kind of leakage. If that's the only thing wrong with your motor in any way you should be pleased! :)

Sorry fellas. Im used to the kia forum that take you to a specific model. Anyway its a 2001 disco.

not interested in your disco, tell us who`s wet an moist fer fecks sake.
we got members with members it seems getting all eggsited....

oh, as a fellow disco owner, look at your sunroofs if you have them, or your windscreen rubbers - if you have any left,
or your roof bars sealing rubbers if you have anything left of them..
me - i used some black all purpose building sealent - sillicon - 731 or something it was called..sticks like ****e to a blanket !!!!

or move to a dryer place.....

Iv noticed the same last few days water dropping on my hand while driving , in both corners of the roof liner made me smile ... Another little job to sort out so thanks for the thread :)

Alpines are bonded and don't usually give any problems.

Youi can get the headlining out and seal the sunroofs to the main roof panel properly in a day.

Then leave the lining out and check for other leaks.

How can you possibly have water ingress, Its summer

Real landys dont get washed :D

Thanks fellas. Do the alpine windows cause much concern??? I also get a few drips in front passenger foot well. Any ideas???

sunroofs can leak from 2 places ,the join to roof and through the breakage or blockage of drains on the under tray , both need to be right to stop a leak

..or the joint between the under tray and their plastic corner pieces .. or broken roof drain pipe spigots ..or the roof rail seals ..or from around the windscreen aperture ..you really need to just remove the roof lining (not difficult, just boring) and have a look! :)
