also, am now taking bets on wether my td4 will make it to here and back this christmas Google Maps

so, how cold does it get in the artic circle at christmas? and how much snow? something tells me im not coming back alive.

your thoughts?>

Make sure you've got plenty of tread on your tyres. That way when you break down and freeze to death, we can have them ! If you list all your goodies on here before you go, we can decide who gets what to avoid any arguements
 
Worked in Russia for couple of years, this is the marker for the circle in middle of summer near Novy Urengoy, minus 40 in winter, all diesel is cut with aviation kerosene to keep things running............and no local LR dealers within 2000 miles.

Im in southern sweden and the winter down here gets cold but its a different cold than the uk the uk is a damp cold and here its a dry cold so when its say -10 here its much like the uk about 0 we get allot of snow heres some piccys of lasy year KopiaavDSCF0013.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting theres a honda civic under there somewhere we never saw it for 3 weeks, DSCF0036.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting thats my girlfriend in the garden , DSCF0017.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting the dogs love it everyone else thinks it sucks, DSCF0082.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting, thats as far as i went in the driveway snow5.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting and thats a snow drift normally theres a small wall there that goes up to the middle of the doors hope this helps you decide the further north you go the worse it gets good luck if you try
 
In a small village of 5 houses in the south east corner of sweden the nearest big place to me is Simrishamn,last year it was about -3 to -10 there was some snow in dec there was allot more came at the end of january but the further north you go at christmas time the more snow and the temp gets allot lower its not unusual to get -20 to -30 so its usually a bit milder down here.The weather "experts"(guesswork I think)say its going to be a bad winter this year this will be my 5th winter here and we always get snow sometimes early november december time and sometimes january february 2 years ago we were actually stuck in the house for 2 days as it was too bad to go outside whiteout conditions this was before I got the landy now I look forward to going out in it,hope this helps and if you need anymore info then feel free to contact me cheers Don

You would have to chuck him in the freezer first, and THEN shoot him.

That's after you got his money of course.

just to let you know its now snowing in the north of sweden and its -5 down here in the south its about 14 just now so winters a coming
