do you get the ebay reciept with the landyThe VIN plates probably.
All you have to do is check the vehicle reg with the DVLA. It is registered as a 1976 88"Owner is obviously trying to cover it up and make it not so obvious by putting a private reg on it.
hi, just got in from work, it is year it says but has been modified from prevous owner. i have had this motor for 8 months and will be sadly to see it go
not the sharpest tool in the box, is he?
just sent him this reply, let's see what he has to say now.
Thankyou for your reply, I'm interested in the land rover but i would like a bit more information, you say it's a 1976 model that has been modified, could you tell me which parts of the vehicle are from the original 1976 landrover? also, did the previous owner give you the receipts for the parts he used to modify it, ie the engine, body work etc?
I think you'll find it has 1976 tyres on and that's all.
i got told it was a hybred if that means anything to ya, father in law was previous owner for 18 months before me. got no reipts for modify but do for all works i have had done at land rover specialist, ie cam belt tyres shockers. only done 1000 miles on new tyres
Has anyone told the police / ebay?
This f**ker has nicked it and stuck dud vins on it! I'm tempted to put a bid in a go up there!
I had my 90 nicked years ago, it's not nice!
nothing will come of it.Ebay is probbably the best place to shift a ringerim only up road from him, im thinking about going through wi a few lads, identifying its real age etc and ringing police while im there. watch him **** him self
