weird speedometer & transmission

I have a Ford E-150 v-6 4.2l '99 110,000 miles with weird problems.1) the
speedometer is not reading properly, like driving on hwy at 60 mph and the
reading is between 10 & 30 and is bouncing all the time, and also the
odometer is no right(might be related with the speedometer).2)The tranny
is making (what i feel islike a quick downshift). Lock-up, sensor, torque
converter???. I have the 2 speed sensors changed, tranny flush at Ford and
the scan and test drive from a tranny shop in Florida without any answer.
Now i brought the van where i live in Montreal and have it check again,
with a bad vss diagnostic and maybe a bad coil pack what it could cause
the quick down**** that i feel on the hwy.I dont know but i need to fix
those problems, because i have to pass an inspection to have the tag. Also
need to know how make the daylight working. THANK YOU in advance

That's a symptom of a bad mechanical linkage going to the speedo, for
example a broken cable. Fix that first and see if the other problems cease.

Daytime running lights?

Connect a relay in parallel to the headlight switch which is activated by
the accessory switch (for example, the power to the radio). Then the
headlights will be on whenever the radio has power.
