Just watched WD's doing up a TR6. They've blinged a 90 D which was a bit disappointing.

So Series landy people. What would you like to see having a makeover on WD ? They're into all over post war classic's.

Me? I'd like to see a S2a SWB get the full treatment. How much do you think it would be worth .

I'd feel happier if I didn't see Ed putting back the rusty old fastenings, spot areas of rust which he doesn't mention, never mentions whether he does oil and filter change, doesn't check gearbox and transmission if they 'seem' all right etc etc. However, what I would like to see fully restored is a series III CSW, about 1974. Just like mine. In fact, mine! ;)

yeah, agree they seem to takes leaps n bounds that's TV for you. I like your selection, the 12 seater LWB I presume? If so, quite a desirable landy in terms heritage. Like to see Ed get stuck into the guts of one of those, with his workshop he'd be able to fettle anything within reason.

They are now in the US California doing up American classics and muscle cars. Said selection of vehicles were poor and rusty in the UK.

The next time anyone complains about anti US posts I'll just point them in your direction shall I?
OP said just watch WD on tr6 and a 90 those are 2-3 year old shows. So was giving a update that wd immigrated to the US to sunny California. On the first US show they was asked why they moved to the US, just repeating what they said. It is a really good show and I enjoy it. so there:p:p:p

I didn't say it was false, I know exactly what you're doing, you do it day in, day out.

It's exceedingly dull. Stop it.

Well, they have to butter up the Merkins, so you let them play in the playground ...
They only went to the US to expand the market, having done Europe, and sell the cars locally saving on shipping, so more profit ...
Series 12 will also introduce the brand new workshop back in the UK as well as the Huntington Beach CA. workshop ...

good wiki paste and post

Here's a selection of the Merkin work list: "WHEELER DEALERS will feature a range of American icons: a rare piece of all-American muscle - the Pontiac GTO; a 1950s U.S. staple - the Ford F1 pickup truck; a fabulous 1950s coupe with great styling and a Hemi under its hood - the DeSoto Firedome; perhaps one of America's biggest automotive flops - the AMC Pacer; and more "

So, what channel do you watch WDs on ?
Velocity ?
