most warranties aren't worth the paper they are printed on, you are better off putting the cash you would spend on a warranty into a savings account ready for the unexpected

i have been told the RAC one is pretty good - but aint got any experience of it.

dont bother with the rac warranty i have a five star warranty,my o/s drive shaft went when i was away with my caravan rac wouldnt fit the bill for anything,they said that because it was worn and not broke i was not elligible,so i replied so if i continued to drive it like and it went would you pay,and they said no,so if i was you dont bother put the money aside,total cost for my rac warranty not paying was £503.00

Fraid Yella,s got it smack on ,to many ifs und buts ,small print jargon, in other words they just want ya money,but dont wanna pay any out, so save ya dosh and pay a good mechanic when time comes or learn how ta fix motors yourself, its not rocket science , snigger. . .

also look at consequential loss
all of the other warranties around are a waste of money, Imo

yeah but no but yeah but - its f*****' expensive - a warranty - like all insurance is a cheaper option - i bet yu got house insurance - yu aint put 100K away in case yo house gets burnt down. Yu say its not rocket science but (sorry Mondeo - whinge time agin) yu cant even check the ***** gearbox oil on a hippo without the diagnostic kit - how many of us got one of them sittin' in the garage?
I still maintain its **** poor design.
