While driving into work today, I received the following warning light... an orange hill descent light with an exclamation point (on the left side) and a flashing 4 & R on the right. What does this indicate?

Please help!

This indicates "Expense" my friend :(
Check the HDC switch under the gear stick gator as sometimes it comes loose or falls off. Hopefully it's just a case of reconnect and you're sorted.
 
When I shut the car off, it will disappear. When turned back on, it will stay out for about 50 miles....I still trying figure out which wire I'm looking at...thanks again! I'll give this a shot...if that doesn't work, what do you think the issue is?
