Wanted - LHD

Hi,
I sold my D2 in January as I was buying a house and I really miss it!

I'm after a LHD defender, series or D1 in good condition with an MOT. Saw a beauty on eBay yesterday but it was gone within a few hours

I want to export it so the chassis VIN must be legible and rust free. Also, must be LHD from factory rather than RHD conversion.

My budget is upto £4k, but preferably £3k. If anyone selling or knows somebody, please drop me a PM

There's a couple of left hooker D1's for sale at different( general) dealers in Chesham and Amersham, both should come up on an eBay search but if not try Gumtree and Preloved and enter Chesham as the location then refine to plus 10 miles? Rather than LR specialist I' d maybe try a Lhd specialist, there's a few in and around London. there's a fair number of foreign postings to UK plus returning expats in this neck of the woods ( Herts/ Bucks/ Middx borders so not too far from you), but unlikely to yield many Defenders and almost certainly no series

Thanks IGP50! I've had a look at those sites and they look very promising. Funnily enough a nice LHD series has come up on eBay.
