FUF has recently started a visibly discernible list to starboard more aft than fore i.e. back right hand corner has dropped by 3 inches or so. Before any funnytrousers suggests tyre inflation - I checked that first. As FUF is my first series LR each new opportunity for learning(problem) I need advice with.
The shock mounts are solid - is it the shock on that side which may have failed and how do I check/establish whether it is buggered or not.
If it is should I replace both rear shocks - logic says yes as that what I would do on my bike.

Any and all advice gratefully received -

blue skies, green lights and trouble free motoring to you all,

tom

g'day i doubt that it is yer shocker. have you checked to see if yer spring is busted or worst still that yer actual chassis hasn't split, cracked, busted or rusted. seeing as how its yer spring that takes the weight and not the shock.

Yeah, I reckon Slobs hit the nail on the head. Its not yer shocker causing that kind of sag. It might be worth checking whether a spring hanger has broken. I've seen that happen before !.

Gents,

ta very much for the replies - good news is that the chassis hasn't parted/split will check the leaf spring - I believe they are not hugely costly,

ta,

tom
