Right picked up my new 110 project off Trax yesterday afternoon!

The intention of this project is to build a 110 with a fresh mot for less than £1000 including the purchase of the vehicle and have it ready by lz11 :)

So far the bill is £420 which is :-

£350 for the vehicle
£35 for the trailer hire
£35 of diesel

Had lots of fun loading it as theres no steering box so the front wheels are free to go wherever they want.

Had to get rescued by trax as the sorento couldnt pull the trailer off the field - no diff locks and road tyres meant it got to a lip on the field before it go on a track and just couldnt do it!

Just dropped the trailer back, trailer started being a bit wobbly half way, stopped and looked but couldnt find anything wrong.

Got to the depot and the towbar was half hanging off! The person who had fitted it had used normal bolts and they had vibrated loose! SCCAAARRRYYY

Glad this didnt happen with the 110 on!

Had a nightmare getting the 110 off the trailer in my yard, ended up using my other 110 to pull it off with its winch then used the ferguson to ram it up the hill and onto a little concrete plinth!

The lawn is looking somewhat worse for the experience mind. Will need a good rolling in the spring to get rid of the trenches it dug!

well as its going to be converted to a 3dr soft top, alot of the non required components will be sold and go toward to fund. I also am not including the spares that are sat in my garage already, or tools that i buy specifically to do jobs.

For instance I am going to buy a shot blasting set and a bigger compressor etc to do things myself but that doesnt count towards the £1000 target

I have a spare set of 33" wheels which will go on, various lights and seats etc kicking about in the workshop.

Biggest cost straight off is a replacement crossmember and tub
