Decided to clean up my winch, so after stripping it and blasting it i painted the main parts but wanted someting different on the top case, so thought i would give crinkle paint a go......what you think ?

Like the stuff you used to find on British Sports cars in the 70's. Black paint that looks like it's reacted badly to the primer. Used to be called crackle finish.

Thats it, even did dashes in it back then
This is also heat resistent for engine parts
