When I say HOT, I mean glowing red under normal driving conditions with smoke coming off the brake pads! with the offside disc at normal warm temperature under mild braking conditions. The caliper pistons were sticking and have been released, ok for a couple of weeks and problem reaccured. The brake disc appears to be straight so I do not think that is a problem. The vehicle is not pulling to one side and stops in a straight line ok. Would be very gratefull for any ideas before I replace complete caliper. Disco 2 2001 Auto ABS on 78000 miles c\w new brake pads all round 1000 miles ago. Cheers Guys.

I had this on my Peugeot, had changed the calliper only a few months before so knew it wasn't that. The flexi-hose to the calliper had collapsed, so for a few quid buy some new hose and change that first. Cheaper than a calliper!
