HI...the blower motor on my TD4 is working ok but the heater control knob that selects the direction of the fan seems to have broken. I dont seem to be getting any blown air on any of the selector positions and the selector knob doesn't feel right...any ideas? Thank you.

If it's a Freelander 1, pull the selector switch and it will come orf. Do all 3 in a row. There's some screws behind it. That will allow you to take some of the plastic orf. Then you'll be able to see the mechanisum behind it. Start from there. Somethng may have snapped.
