Looking to replace the seals and have undone everything. However, the spindles have nuts at each end which once take off still do not appear to allow for the flap to be removed. I had expected a single spindle which could be removed but this doesn’t look like the case.

The hinge spindles are single piece units but can be challenging to remove. The trick is to carefully rotate/pull with a pair of flat nose pliers - often needing much lubrication to free them out. When re-fitting, clean out the spindle holes before re-assembly.

....as above. They do slide out.....then use s/s hex head alternatives (M5) for re-assembly!

If they have a nut at each end, they are not oridinal which was a dome headed pin with a split end. If they have a nut at each end you need to take the nut off nearest the hinge (so the pin slides to the center).
There maybe some corrosion so you will need a good pair of pliars/grips to clamp the pin whilst you take off the nut.

Just seen the photo ... they are aftermarket. It's the corrosion that are holding them in.
Put the nut on 1 turn and tap with a hammer after applying lots of releasing spray (WD40 etc).

They are aftermarket but the good news it they are stainless already so should be fairly easy to remove. In your picture put the nut back on the right hand side and use that to turn the spindle while applying penetrating fluid and tapping the left hand end. When you re-assembling clean out the holes on both the bulkhead and the vent and liberally apply grease.

When you replace the seal's make sure you get the closed cell type, cheap plain foam ones hold water and promote rust.
One of the pins on the missus's 90 (when we bought it) was so badly rusted in that l eventually had to spread the mounting to remove it.
Fortunately there was minimal paint damage and l fitted stainless replacement pins, plus l made sure l put some oil on them from time to time.
