V8 problems.

Disco 1 v8 over heating.Iv,e been had,only bought it last week,fitted a new waterpump and thermastat took it for a spin and it still overheated when stood still.I was gonna flush it out,but when i checked the rad its near new.Since overheating it no longer runs on lpg. What else can i try before i scrap it.

Make sure you filled it properly with no air locks check head gasket no need to scrap it if its hg its fairly simple to do

how do i check the head gasket,theres no water in the oil or round the oil filler cap.doesent seem to be any steam out the exhaust eather.With a bit of luck,my haynes manual will arrive tomorrow.

Any bubbling in the expansion tank? Is the water circulating?
