Disco 2 V8 Plug Lead Changing

Hi and apologies if this has been covered before. I have a misfire on number 4 cylinder and think the HT lead is failing. Can anyone offer some advice on how to change them as it looks an impossible job to access the coil pack at the rear of the engine. Presumably the bonnet needs to come off. Any tips would be gratefully received. Thanks

Just reach behind and lose a bit of knuckle skin n swear a lot .

Even with the upper manifold off it is a pain in the butt to get at them, and you have to do most of it by feel as you cannot see much at all.

In my experience, it will be the 3-way connector on the side of the coil pack that is intermittent, rather than the lead.

Might be wrong of course!

We had one go down in France, and it turned out to be a corroded pin in that connector.
