Silly question, but how do you diconect the fuel rail from the fuel pipe? Having looked at rave and at my Disco it would appear impossible to gain access to the relavent union which would appear to be on top of the gearbox belhousing. I need to know so I can change cam, tappets and rockers and the inlet has to be removed

Take the upper manifold off, ignition coil off (you need to take the top two screws holding the coil right out and loosen the bottom two to release the manifold) then you can access the union. It is slightly forward of the engine/bell housing joint.
Put some duct tape over the inlet holes of the lower manifold, they are a magnet for bits and pieces, and when you have taken that off to get at the camshaft lifters, put something over the ports as well.
