Took my 110 (v8 3.5) out for a bit of mild green laning yesterday. Went through some water about half way up the wheels and all was fine, took it nice and slowly and had no issues. On the way back went through the same water but a bit quicker and it spluttered to a halt. Obviously water got into something because afer about five minutes it started again and was fine all the way home. The Dizzy cap looked dry, so where are the other places that I should look to make more water tight?
Thanks

Fuel pump. I had the same with my old V8. It was water getting to the fuel pump connections on the tank.

Thanks, just looking at some waterproofing for the coil and dizzy. Only ones I can find on ebay are £35, for what looks like two marigolds and some cable ties. Sounds a lot to me.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a good idea. To be honest pretty ****ed off as it's taken me over a year to get it running properly and the first time I take in any water it cuts out.
I think the post from Rattty is useful as well, it has an LPG conversion on it with a switch on the dash for the fuel pump, every now and then it splutters and when you waggle the switch it normally starts running properly again.
Glad I've got so much time on my hands !!!!
