Hello
I have lost my key fob for my land rover.j still have the key but it won't start. Apparently when you unlock the car with the Fob it disarms the immobiliser? Is there anything I can do as a temp fix? A bypass or something so I can get it running? Thanks
Josh

With some makes you can go round the passenger side lock and unlock there to over ride. Problem is the fob must be in range of the sensor in the steering column. Not sure if it would work for you but no harm in trying.

Crystal ball is a bit foggy, it would help to know what sort of Land Rover, strangely, they are all different:rolleyes:

Sorry have been working on it as we speak, took the ecm out and I've been quoted 65 pound for a new programmed remote key. It's a freelander 1 2.0 turbo diesel, 1998. No lock on passenger side door. Thanks everyone

do gaylanders not have a eka code????

No ....but Freelanders do :p

Have a look in your handbook to see how to use the emergency access code - (page 11 in mine) ...the code should be on your security card - if you have all this... it should get you in and started.
