Unknown Switch

Long time watcher, first time poster...... Had this troublesome Freelander for 3 years now, it just loves to overheat!!!


Hi, hope someone can help please. I have found a blue 2 pin connector attached to a coil type switch under neath the injection manifold on a 1.8 petrol, but I cannot find where it should be plugged or what it does ¿¿¿¿

Welcome to landyzone frying barbeque chicken on engine. Hopefully his holiness Nodge of many knowledge shall pop in. As by your picture looks like a sensor but missing a shroud.
As you own a hairdresser Freelander now can you make sure you get the fingernails painted.
