I'm new on the forum. I have a Freelander 1 Td4 from 2003 and I'm hoping I would get some lights in regards to my dilemma. In this image I just put up, underneath the alternator as you can see, near the positive terminal cable there is that loose connector and for the love of the universe, I have no idea what it is, if it is even meant to be connected somewhere. I was messing around the alternator since I do have problems with it (gave up its soul, RIP) and I discovered it by accident.
Anyone has a small idea on what could that connector be? Its purpose? Is it alternator related? Any suggestion would be kindly appreciated.
